Gina Gershon
Gina Gershon was born June 10, 1962 (Gemini) in Los Angeles, California,
the daughter of Stan Gershon (salesman) and Mickey Koppel (interior
decorator). Brought up in the San Fernando Valley, birthplace of
latina actress Jacqueline Obradors, Gina has
roots that are French, Dutch, and Russian. As a youngster, she leaned
toward acting which was designed to keep her out of trouble. She also
enjoyed sports, dancing, and had a passion for cigars.
Gina went on to better though not necessarily bigger roles in "Red Heat" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and "Cocktail" with Tom Cruise. She added television work to her resume, including a role in Melrose Place (a show that his seen guest appearances from many aspiring actresses. She also found a role in the 1992 made-for-TV biography of Nancy Sinatra, in which she was critically praised for her role as Sinatra's first wife. Three years later she played in the risque but badly panned movie, "Showgirls," then went on to an equally adult role in the gangster film, "Bound," in which her love interest was Jennifer Tilly. She continued to capture roles in significant films, including Face-Off (1997) with Travolta and Cage, and later played alongside Al Pacino in "The Insider" (1999). Never having played a leading role in a feature film, Gina's roles have nevertheless been unforgettable. She had the opportunity to star in a music video for The Cars ("Hello Again") with former schoolmate Lenny Kravitz. Gina has also been involved in theatre organization as a co-founder of Naked Angels (a group of actors and writers). .15hqqp. ![]() ![]() ![]() Click and bid on the auction of your choice, but only if you're registered!
